Senior QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive manual and automated testing. You will work closely with development teams to identify, report, and track defects, contributing significantly to the delivery of high-quality solutions. This position offers the opportunity to lead testing initiatives, mentor junior QA engineers, and shape our overall quality assurance strategy.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionalities.

• Perform thorough manual and automated testing across various platforms and environments.

• Develop and maintain robust test automation scripts using tools like Selenium.

• Conduct extensive API testing using Postman to ensure backend service reliability and performance.

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and ensure testability.

• Identify, document, and track bugs, working with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a dedicated Senior QA Engineer with a strong passion for quality and an excellent eye for detail.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

• Proven expertise in both manual and automation testing techniques.

• Demonstrable experience with test automation frameworks, specifically Selenium.

• Strong background in API testing, including hands-on experience with tools like Postman.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and QA methodologies.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
